Previously we established that End Time Believers have been provided 490 years of allotted prophetic time, with a 483 year phase being past fulfilled…
…leaving a seven year phase yet to be fulfilled.
This unfulfilled seven year phase is often referred to as the 70th Week of Daniel.
Identifying more details concerning this Final Seven Year Countdown will be the subject of this article.
A quick review reveals that both phases conclude with advents of Yeshua.
The first 483 years of Daniel’s 70 Weeks vision finished with the crucifixion of Yeshua.
Notice that the 70th Week of Daniel is predicted to conclude with the second coming of Yeshua.
BOTH PHASES BEGIN WITH OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS
PHASE ONE began in 457 BC, with the issuing of a decree that restored the people of Israel back to Jerusalem after being in captivity in Babylon for 70 years.
- Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto The Messiah shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
Daniel 9:25 KJVm
PHASE TWO is predicted to begin with the confirmation of an official covenant. According to the prophet Daniel, the Final Seven Year Countdown will begin with the confirmation of “a covenant” by an individual, which Daniel only recognizes as “he.”
- HE will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ HE will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple HE will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”
Daniel 9:27 NIV
The next event to transpire in this vision is predicted to occur in the “middle” of the Seven Year Countdown.
- HE will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ HE will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple HE will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

Where this same individual is going to desecrate the yet-to-be-built third temple by putting an “end to the sacrifice and offering” and “setting up” the “Abomination of Desolation.”
- HE will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ HE will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple HE will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.”

And according to Yeshua, when the Abomination of Desolation does “set himself” up in the Holy Place, know and understand…
- When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoso readeth, let him understand:
Matthew 24:15 KJV
…that this event is “the” sign, which indicates the start of the Great Tribulation, which we are forewarned about.
- For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION WILL CONFIRM THE COVENANT
And it is “he”, the Abomination of Desolation himself, that will confirm the covenant, which is the start of the final seven years.
- HE will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ HE will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple HE will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.

And when this confirmation does occur, the final countdown begins and three things will become apparent.
1. THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION IS REVEALED
First, The Abomination of Desolation is revealed for who he is.
2 . SEVEN YEARS TILL THE SECOND COMING
Secondly, The confirmation will indicate that the Final Seven Year countdown is in progress.
Presently, no one knows the day-or-the-hour of the second coming. However, according to Daniel’s vision, the minute this “covenant” is “confirmed,” seven years will remain till the second coming of Yeshua.
3. 3 ½ YEARS TILL THE START OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION
Thirdly, the confirmation lets us know that 3½ years will remain till the start of the Great Tribulation.
This is significant. You now know that The Most High has provided a 3½ year window for you (and the rest of “the Remnant”) to be assembled in His divine Place of Refuge in order to physically escape the predicted apocalypse.
THE PRIMARY SIGN
The confirmation of a covenant by the Abomination of Desolation is “the” Primary Sign, which will indicate that the Final Seven Countdown has begun.
THE SECONDARY SIGN
However, since 1948 Israel has signed many treaties. So, a Secondary Sign (which works in conjunction with the Primary Sign) has been provided to help us distinguish the covenant ,for which we are to be watching, from all other official documents.
THE THIRD TEMPLE
This Secondary Sign is the construction of the third Temple.
According to predictions, in the middle of the Final Seven Year Countdown, The Abomination of Desolation is going to desecrate and end the sacrifices of this yet to be built Temple.
However, in order for the Abomination of Desolation to desecrate it, the Third Temple must first be built.
So the event we are looking for is 1) the confirmation of a covenant or treaty at a time when Israel has built or begins the process of 2) building the Third Temple.
IN REVIEW
The Most High through the prophetic scriptures has forewarned us of an Apocalyptic period called the Great Tribulation and that The Most High has provided a divine Place-of-Refuge, where “the Remnant” can physically escape the predicted apocalypse.
THE PRIMARY SIGN
When you see a confirmation of a covenant involving Israel…
…at a time when Israel has built or begins to build the third temple…
…know and understand that the Final Seven Year Count Down will have begun. And when it does start, 3 ½ years will remain for you to get to The Most High’s divine Place of Refuge in order to physically escape the predicted apocalypse and to greet Yeshua at His return.
