the great deception

UNDER CONSTRUCTION

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am the Messiah; and shall deceive many. (Matthew 24: 5 KJVm)

There are many different deceptions spread throughout our religion.  Some are more obvious than others.  The reason I call this topic The Great Deception is because there is one deception in particular that is so obscure that the vast majority of believers are unaware that it even exist.

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. (Daniel 12:9-10 KJV)

According to Daniel, the prophetic visions had been sealed because they were not meant to be understood prior to the end times.

Because of this sealing of the visions, significant numbers of well-intentioned individuals have spread erroneous interpretations of the prophetic scriptures, thereby misleading many believers that have been influenced by these erroneous interpretations.

In this article we are going to examine The Son of Man’s end time parables and other prophetic passages in an effort to expose this great deception and to determine an accurate understanding of the message being conveyed.

THE COMING KINGDOM OF HEAVEN

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV)

From the very beginning of His ministry, The Son of Man proclaimed the coming Kingdom…

THE KINGDOM CONVEYED IN PARABLES

In all things The Son of Man spoke to the crowds in parables and never did He speak to them without using a parable. (Matthew 13:34 KJVm)

Therefore I speak to them in parables; because while seeing they do not see, and while hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. (Matthew 13:13 NASB)

The reason that The Son of Man spoke to the crowds in parables was because the messages He was conveying were sealed  (like Daniel’s visions) not meant to be understood by all.

Another parable put He forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: (Matthew 13:24 KJV)

Now notice that The Son of Man’s proclamation of the coming Kingdom of Heaven was also sealed in parables.

THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM

And The Son of Man went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. (Matthew 9:35 KJVm)

The Son of Man called these Kingdom parables “The Gospel of the Kingdom.”

A MESSAGE FOR THE LOST SHEEP OF ISRAEL

These twelve The Son of Man sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.  And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 10:5-7 KJV)

One day,  The Son of Man sent the disciples out to evangelize about the Kingdom, instructing them not to go to Gentiles, but rather go to The Lost Sheep of Israel.
