And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Elohim out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold,THE TABERNACLE OF ELOHIM is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Elohim himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim. (Revelation 21:2-3 KJVm)
John the Revelator, in a vision, sees the New Jerusalem (which is the residence/tabernacle of Elohim) coming down to the earth.
They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.” (Hebrews 8:5 NIV)
The height width and length of this structure is 1500 miles.
Then he measured the thickness of the walls and found them to be 216 feet across … (Revelation 21:17 TLB)
The wall of this holy city is 216 feet thick…
And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. (Revelation 21:18 KJV)
…and its composition is clear as glass.
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
The New Jerusalem Is referred to by Yeshua as “The Kingdom of Heaven”…
For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of Elohim shall come. (Luke 22:18 KJVm)
…and “The Kingdom of Elohim,” which has yet to come.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of Elohim should immediately appear. (Luke 19:10-11 KJVm)
Many, during the first century, believed that “The Kingdom” was going to arrive then.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. (Matthew 10:7 KJV)
It didn’t, however, He did tell us that the Kingdom was nearby…
Thy Kingdom come: Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10 KJV)
…and was to come.
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return. (Luke 19:12 KJV)
Yeshua actually predicted His ascension by comparing Himself to a nobleman that departed from His servants on a mission to receive the Kingdom (which is the New Jerusalem) and then return.
In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (John 14:2 KJV)
Yeshua further told His disciples, that He was leaving in order to prepare a place for us inside the New Jerusalem…
Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. (Matthew 16:28 KJV)
…and at the time of His return, the New Jerusalem is going to arrive with Him.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:3 KJV)
But it doesn’t end there. Upon His return, The Son of Man is going to receive us unto Himself where we will be forever with Him, in the place He prepared for us.
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. (Revelation 22:14 KJV)
And from “inside” the New Jerusalem…
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of HaMoshiach, and shall reign with him a thousand years. (Revelation 20:6 KJVm)
…we will rule with the Son of Man during the Millennial Reign…
And hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. (Revelation 5:10 KJVm)
…on the earth.
And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. (Revelation 2:26-27 KJVm)
There, we with the Son of Man, will rule over the nations…
And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King,יהוה of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles. (Zechariah 14:16 KJVm)
…which are those individuals that are left from the nations (that the Son of Man will conquer in the siege on Jerusalem)…
Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Revelation 22:14 NIV)
…which will be cast “outside” the New Jerusalem…
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of Elohim, and you yourselves thrust out. (Luke 13:28 KJVm)
…where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
This is the beginning of the Son of Man’s Millennial Reign.
And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. (Revelation 20: 1-3 KJV)
Satan will then be bound and prevented from influencing the nations that will be living outside the New Jerusalem, for a thousand years.
And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. (Revelation 20:7-8 KJV)
Then, when the thousand year reign is complete, Satan will be released and will deceive the nations around the world to battle…
And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from Elohim out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.(Revelation 20:9-10 KJV)
…surrounding the New Jerusalem and the saints within. But Elohim will intercede and cast the devil into the Lake of Fire.
