SIMILAR TO THE EXODUS FROM EGYPT

- - EXAMPLES
    - For we must never forget, dear brothers, what happened to our people in the wilderness long ago… All these things happened to them as examples—as object lessons to us—to warn us against doing the same things; they were written down so that we could read about them and learn from them in these last days as the world nears its end. (1 Corinthians 10:1,11 TLB)

- - WHEN IT IS NO LONGER SAID
    - Therefore, the day will come, says יהוה, when it is no longer said, “יהוה lives who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.” Rather, it will be said, ”יהוה lives, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again to their land that I gave unto their fathers.” (Jeremiah 16:14 KJVm)

THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL

- - SCATTERED AMONG THE GENTILES
    - “I will scatter them also among the Gentiles, whom neither they nor their fathers have known.” Jer.9:16.

- - - “Just as you have forsaken me and served foreign Elohims in your land, so you shall serve aliens in a land that is not yours. I will deliver them to trouble into all the kingdoms of the earth, for their harm, to be a reproach and a byword, a taunt and a cause, in all the places where I shall drive them.” Jer.5:19,24:9.

- - - Revelation 10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

- - ONLY A REMNANT WILL RETURN
    - For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness. (Isaiah 10:22 NASB)

- - FROM BOTH HOUSES
    - Jeremiah 3:18 KJV In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers.

A HIGHWAY FOR THE REMNANT

- - AGAIN A SECOND TIME
    - And it shall come to pass in that day, that יהוה shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. … And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. (Isaiah 11:11,12,16 KJVm)

- - FROM THE NORTH – BLIND AND LAME
    - For there will be a day, that the watchmen on the mountains of Ephraim will call out, Arise and let us go up to Zion unto יהוה Elohenu. For thus says יהוה; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: proclaim, give praise and say, יהוה, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company will return here. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. (Jeremiah 31:6-9 KJVm)

FROM THE COUNTRIES WHERE SCATTERED

- - - And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries whither I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase. (Jeremiah 23:3 KJV)

- - - Therefore say, Thus says יהוה Elohim; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. (Ezekiel 11:17 KJVm)

- - FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH
    - And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isaiah 11:12 KJV)

TO SAVE THE REMNANT

- - - For I am with thee, saith יהוה, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished. (Jeremiah 30:11 KJVm)

- - - For thus says יהוה; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, יהוה, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. (Jeremiah 31:7 KJVm)

- - - In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, יהוה our righteousness. (Jeremiah 33:16 KJVm)

IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL

- - - I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And you shall know that I am יהוה, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. (Ezekiel 20:41-42 KJVm)

NOT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY

According to Zechariah two thirds of the inhabitants “in all the land” of Israel will be killed. This suggest that not the entire country of Israel will be a safe haven.

- - - And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith יהוה, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, יהוה is my Elohim. (Zechariah 13: 8-9 KJVm)

TO A PLACE PREPARED BY ELOHIM

- - - And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared by Elohim, that they should feed her there 1260 days. (Revelation 12:6 KJVm)

A PLACE PROTECTED FROM THE BEAST

- - - And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for 3 1/2 years from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14 KJVm)

A PLACE BEST DESCRIBED AS A PEN

- - - “I will surely gather all of you, Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel. I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people. (Micah 2:12 NIV)

IN JERUSALEM

- - REMNANT DELIVERED IN JERUSALEM
    - And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of יהוה shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as יהוה hath said, and in the remnant whom יהוה shall call. (Joel 2:32 KJVm)

- - יהוה WILL DEFEND THE INHABITANTS OF JERUSALEM
    - In that day shall יהוה defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He that is feeble among them in that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as Elohim’s angel of יהוה before them. (Zechariah 12;8 KJVm)

- - THE REMNANT ARE THE ESCAPED OF JERUSALEM
    - For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of יהוה of hosts shall do this. (Isaiah 37:32 KJVm)

THE PURGE / REFINEMENT

During the Greater Second Exodus, “the Remnant” will enter a proverbial “wilderness” where they will be refined and rebellious individuals will be purged.

- - THE WILDERNESS OF PEOPLE / PLEAD WITH YOU
    - And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein you are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out. And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, saith יהוה Adonay. And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am יהוה. (Ezekiel 20: 34-38 KJVm)

- - REFINE AS SILVER
    - And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, יהוה is my Elohay. (Zechariah 13:9 KJVm)

But as for them whose hearts continue to desire detestable things and abominations, I will bring compensation for their ways down upon their heads, declares יהוה Elohim. (Ezekiel 11:17-21 KJVm)

COVENANT

- - - Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so abhor them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am יהוה their Elohim. But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their Elohim. I am יהוה.’” (Leviticus 26:44-45 NASB)

- - COVENANT LOYALTY
    - Then יהוה passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “יהוה, יהוה EL, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loyalty to His covenants and truth, who is loyal to His covenants with thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin. Yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.” (Exodus 34: 6-7 KJVm)

- - LAWLESSNESS
    - “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’(Matthew 7:21-23 NASB)

- - A NEW COVENANT
    - Behold, the days are coming, says יהוה, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah. Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband unto them, saith יהוה But this shall be the (new) covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith יהוה, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Lelohim, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know יהוה: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith יהוה: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jeremiah 31: 31-34 KJVm)
