Verses concerning the Greater Second Exodus

יהוה

        • THE BLESSING & THE CURSE
              • I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants, (Deuteronomy 30:19 NASB)
        • THE BLESSING – If you observe all the words of this law
              • For I am YHVH your Elohim. You shall keep My sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary; I am YHVH. If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out, then I shall give you rains in their season, so that the land will yield its produce and the trees of the field will bear their fruit. Indeed, your threshing will last for you until grape gathering, and grape gathering will last until sowing time. You will thus eat your food to the full and live securely in your land. I shall also grant peace in the land, so that you may lie down with no one making you tremble. I shall also eliminate harmful beasts from the land, and no sword will pass through your land. But you will chase your enemies and they will fall before you by the sword; five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall before you by the sword. So I will turn toward you and make you fruitful and multiply you, and I will confirm My covenant with you. 10 You will eat the old supply and clear out the old because of the new. 11 Moreover, I will make My ]dwelling among you, and My soul will not reject you. 12 I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. 13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so that you would not be their slaves and I broke the bars of your yoke and made you walk erect. (Leviticus 26:1-13 NASB) (Leviticus 26: 3-6 NASB)
        • THE CURSE – If you do not observe all the words of this law
              • Moreover, YHVH will scatter you among all peoples, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth; and there you will serve other gods of wood and stone, which you or your fathers have not known. Among those nations you shall find no rest, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there YHVH will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of your soul. (Deuteronomy 28:64-65 KJVm)
  • THE PROMISE OF RESTORATION

(Deuteronomy 30:1-5 KJVm)

            • 1  And it shall come to pass, the blessing and the curse which I have set before you.  If, when all these things do come about, you will recall them while you are among all the nations where YHVH your Elohim has driven you, and if you and your children turn back unto YHVH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul by obeying His voice according to all that I instructed this day, then YHVH your Elohim will have compassion upon you again, by gathering you out of captivity from all nations, returning you from where ever YHVH your Elohim has scattered you. And if any of you are driven to the furthest most parts of the earth under heaven, even from there YHVH your Elohim will gather you and from there He will fetch you and bring you into the land which your fathers possessed and you will then possess; And YHVH your Elohim will will do you good and multiply you even more than your fathers.

FUTURE EXODUS – SIMILAR TO THE EXODUS FROM EGYPT

      • EXAMPLES FOR THE END TIMES
        • For we must never forget, dear brothers, what happened to our people in the wilderness long ago… All these things happened to them as examples—as object lessons to us—to warn us against doing the same things; they were written down so that we could read about them and learn from them in these last days as the world nears its end. (1 Corinthians 10:1,11 TLB)
      • WHEN IT IS NO LONGER SAID
        • Therefore, the day will come, says יהוה, when it is no longer said, “יהוה lives who brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.” Rather, it will be said, ”יהוה lives, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again to their land that I gave unto their fathers.” (Jeremiah 16:14 KJVm)
      • TENTS ONCE AGAIN
        • “But I am יהוה your Eloheka since the land of Egypt and again I will make you live in tents as in the days of the appointed feast. (Hosea 12:9 KJVm)

WHO – THE REMNANT OF ISRAEL

      • SCATTERED AMONG THE GENTILES
        • “I will scatter them also among the Gentiles, whom neither they nor their fathers have known.” (Jeremiah 9:16.NASB)
        • And it shall come to pass, when they shall say, Why does יהוה our Elohim do all these things unto us? then you shall answer them, “Like as you have forsaken me and served strange gods in your land, so shall you serve strangers in a land that is not your’s.”(Jeremiah 5:19 KJVm)
        • And he said unto me, You must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. (Revelation 10:11 KJVm)
      • ONLY A REMNANT WILL RETURN
        • For though your people, O Israel, may be like the sand of the sea, Only a remnant within them will return; A destruction is determined, overflowing with righteousness. (Isaiah 10:22 NASB)
      • FROM BOTH HOUSES
        • In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. (Jeremiah 3:18 KJV)

WHAT – TO SAVE THE REMNANT

        • For I am with you, saith יהוה, to save you: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end of you: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave you altogether unpunished. (Jeremiah 30:11 KJVm)
        • For thus says יהוה; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish, praise and say, יהוה, save your people, the remnant of Israel.  (Jeremiah 31:7 KJVm)
        • In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, יהוה our righteousness.  (Jeremiah 33:16 KJVm)

        • Therefore say, Thus says יהוה Elohim; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. (Ezekiel 11:17 KJVm)
      • FROM THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH
        • And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. (Isaiah 11:12 KJV)

A HIGHWAY FOR THE REMNANT

      • AGAIN A SECOND TIME
        • And it shall come to pass in that day, that יהוה shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. … And there shall be a highway for the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria; like as it was to Israel in the day that he came up out of the land of Egypt. (Isaiah 11:11,12,16 KJVm)
      • FROM THE NORTH – BLIND AND LAME
        • For there will be a day, that the watchmen on the mountains of Ephraim will call out, Arise and let us go up to Zion unto יהוה Elohenu. For thus says יהוה; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: proclaim, give praise and say, יהוה, save thy people, the remnant of Israel. Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travails with child together: a great company will return here. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn. (Jeremiah 31:6-9 KJVm)
      • TENTS AGAIN
        • But I have been YHVH your Elohim since the land of Egypt; I will make you live in tents again, as in the days of the appointed festival. (Hosea 12:9 NASB)

WHERE – IN THE LAND OF ISRAEL

        • I will accept you with your sweet savour, when I bring you out from the people, and gather you out of the countries wherein ye have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you before the heathen. And you shall know that I am יהוה, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to your fathers. (Ezekiel 20:41-42 KJVm)
        • Therefore say, Thus says יהוה Elohim; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel. (Ezekiel 11:17 KJVm)
        • In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance unto your fathers. (Jeremiah 3:18 KJV)

NOT THE ENTIRE COUNTRY

According to Zechariah two thirds of the inhabitants “in all the land” of Israel will be killed.  This suggest that not the entire country of Israel will be a safe haven.

        • And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith יהוה, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.  And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, יהוה is my Elohim. (Zechariah 13: 8-9 KJVm)
      • TO A PLACE PREPARED BY ELOHIM
        • And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared by Elohim, that they should feed her there 1260 days. (Revelation 12:6 KJVm)
      • A PLACE PROTECTED FROM THE BEAST
        • And the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for 3 1/2 years from the face of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14 KJVm)
      • A PLACE BEST DESCRIBED AS A PEN
        • “I will surely gather all of you, Jacob; I will surely bring together the remnant of Israel.  I will bring them together like sheep in a pen, like a flock in its pasture; the place will throng with people. (Micah 2:12 NIV)

THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM

      • REMNANT DELIVERED IN JERUSALEM
        • And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of יהוה shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as יהוה hath said, and in the remnant whom יהוה shall call. (Joel 2:32 KJVm)
      • יהוה WILL DEFEND THE INHABITANTS OF JERUSALEM
        • In that day shall יהוה defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He that is feeble among them in that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as Elohim’s angel of יהוה before them. (Zechariah 12;8 KJVm)
      • THE REMNANT ARE THE ESCAPED OF JERUSALEM
        • For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and they that escape out of mount Zion: the zeal of יהוה of hosts shall do this. (Isaiah 37:32 KJVm)

WHEN – THE 70TH WEEK OF DANIEL

        • And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. (Daniel 9:27 KJV)
      • WHEN YOU SEE THE ABOMINATION
        • When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoever reads this, let him understand:) (Matthew 24:15 KJVm)
      • FOREWARNED OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION
        • For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.(Matthew 24:21 KJV)

THE PURGE / REFINEMENT

It is not enough to just be in Jerusalem at the appointed time.  During the Greater Second Exodus, “the Remnant” will enter a proverbial “wilderness” where they will be refined and rebellious individuals will be purged.

      • THE WILDERNESS OF PEOPLE / PLEAD WITH YOU
        • And I will bring you out from the people, and will gather you out of the countries wherein you are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with fury poured out.  And I will bring you into the wilderness of the people, and there will I plead with you face to face. Like as I pleaded with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I plead with you, says יהוה Adonay.  And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:  And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and you shall know that I am יהוה. (Ezekiel 20: 34-38 KJVm)
      • REFINE AS SILVER
        • And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, יהוה is my Elohay. (Zechariah 13:9 KJVm)
        • For I am with you, saith יהוה, to save you: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end of you: but I will correct you in measure, and will not leave you altogether unpunished. (Jeremiah 30:11 KJVm)
        • Therefore say, Thus says יהוה Elohim; “I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.” And they shall come there, and they shall remove all the detestable things and all the abominations.  And I will give them one heart, and will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the heart of stone out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:  That they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their Elohim.  But as for them whose hearts continue to desire detestable things and abominations, I will bring compensation for their ways down upon their heads, declares יהוה Elohim. (Ezekiel 11:17-21 KJVm)

COVENANT

        • Yet in spite of this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them, nor will I so abhor them as to destroy them, breaking My covenant with them; for I am יהוה their Elohim. But I will remember for them the covenant with their ancestors, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the nations, that I might be their Elohim. I am יהוה.’” (Leviticus 26:44-45 NASB)
      • COVENANT LOYALTY
        • Then יהוה passed by in front of him and proclaimed, “יהוה, יהוה EL, merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in loyalty to His covenants and truth, who is loyal to His covenants with thousands, who forgives iniquity, transgression and sin.  Yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, visiting the iniquity of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”  (Exodus 34: 6-7 KJVm)
      • LAWLESSNESS
        • “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’(Matthew 7:21-23 NASB)
      • A NEW COVENANT
        • Behold, the days are coming, says יהוה, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, which my covenant they broke, although I was an husband unto them, saith יהוה  But this shall be the (new) covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith יהוה, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Lelohim, and they shall be my people.  And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know יהוה: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith יהוה: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. (Jeremiah 31: 31-34 KJVm)

This article is dedicated to the memory of the woman that anointed the Son of Man (while He was eating in the house of Simon the Leper) in preparation for His burial.  (Matthew 26:6-13)

The Gathering of the Remnant of Israel
