AS THE DAYS OF NOAH C

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Matthew 24:37 NKJV

NOAH WAS FOREWARNED

Yeshua stated that His return would be “as the days of Noah.” A closer examination of the account reveals that Noah was first forewarned that the nations were going to be judged by an Extinction Level Event we know as “the flood.”

And behold, I Myself am bringing floodwaters on the earth, to destroy from under heaven all flesh in which is the breath of life; everything that is on the earth shall die.

Genesis 6:17 NKJV

NOAH WAS GIVEN SURVIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Secondly, Noah was then provided instructions to build the ark.

Make yourself an ark of gopherwood; make rooms in the ark, and cover it inside and outside with pitch.

Genesis 6:13 NKJV

This instructions to build to ark are Divine Survival Instruction, and the reason that Noah was provided these instruction was that so that he, his family and the animals which the entered the ark,would physically be “saved” from the flood.

But I will establish My covenant with you; and you shall go into the ark—you, your sons, your wife, and your sons’ wives with you.And of every living thing of all flesh you shall bring two of every sort into the ark, to keep them alive with you; they shall be male and female. Of the birds after their kind, of animals after their kind, and of every creeping thing of the earth after its kind, two of every kind will come to you to keep them alive.

Genesis 6:18-20 NKJV

WE ARE FOREWARNED

Just as Noah was forewarned, we likewise who are living at the end of the age have also been forewarned of an Extinction Level Event.

For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved;

Matthew 24:21-22 NKJV

We are most familiar with this divine “warning” through passages like the apocalyptic horseman and the vials of wrath.

WE ARE GIVEN DIVINE SURVIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

What most people aren’t aware of is that we, like Noah, have also been provided divine survival instructions. The following scriptures are just a few examples of these instructions.

PRAY THAT YOU ARE FOUND WORTHY TO ESCAPE

Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Luke 21:36 NKJV

A PLACE PREPARED BY GOD

Then the woman fled into the wilderness where she had a place prepared by God, so that there she would be nourished for 1,260 days.

Revelation 12:6 NASB

FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS

Therefore when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place” (whoever reads, let him understand),“then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
